The exact consent and billing procedure varies by country and carrier. The gateway supports that local flow, then converts the carrier's successful subscription authorization into an OTT entitlement request for the agreed validity period.
Co-branded acquisition
IQSTEL DIGITAL provides a landing journey branded for the telecom carrier and OTT service, or connects an equivalent approved carrier channel.
Consent and opt-in
The subscriber completes the confirmation, legal, privacy, and opt-in steps required by the carrier and applicable local regulation.
Direct Carrier Billing
The telecom carrier authorizes and performs billing against the subscriber's prepaid balance or postpaid account.
Carrier subscription authorization
After successful signup, the carrier instructs IQSTEL DIGITAL to provision OTT access and provides the authorized subscription term, such as 7, 30, or 90 days, or a recurring period.
OTT entitlement activation
IQSTEL DIGITAL calls the agreed OTT provider API to activate the subscription using the agreed subscriber reference and plan or product mapping.
Subscriber identification
MSISDN is commonly preferred for a low-friction carrier journey when supported. Email, provider account ID, opaque subscriber reference, or activation token can be used when required by the OTT provider.
App access
Once activated, the subscriber opens the OTT application or is directed to the Apple App Store or Google Play if it is not installed, then completes the agreed login or account-claiming flow.

Our recommended approach is to integrate with the OTT provider's existing public partner or provisioning API. The provider should not need to redesign its API simply to work with IQSTEL DIGITAL.

- The OTT provider shares its API documentation, sandbox access, authentication method, plan identifiers, and technical contact.
- IQSTEL DIGITAL implements the adapter and maps provider-specific requests, responses, states, and errors to the gateway lifecycle.
- Typical minimum operations are activate/provision, status, and cancel.
- Suspend, resume, renew, change plan, and webhooks are supported where the provider exposes them.
Alternative: IQSTEL DIGITAL standard contract
- Available when the OTT provider does not expose a suitable provisioning interface or both parties prefer a new standardized integration.

If the OTT provider already has a production-ready public API, IQSTEL DIGITAL adapts to it. We avoid imposing unnecessary API changes on the provider.

After activation, the telecom carrier remains the source of the commercial subscription status. When billing or subscription status changes, IQSTEL DIGITAL synchronizes the corresponding OTT entitlement through the provider integration.
